International payment card schemes Visa and Mastercard have announced a suspension of their operations in Russia starting from 00.01 am on March 10th 2022.
All transactions initiated with Visa and Mastercard cards issued by the banks in Russia will no longer work outside the country, including international online shops and services, and Apple Pay / Google Pay.
Any Visa and Mastercard cards issued by financial institutions outside of Russia will no longer work within the country, including Russian merchants or ATMs.
We would like to inform our merchants that transactions initiated by the clients using Visa and Mastercard cards issued by Russian banks will be declined on our payment platform. Additionally, it will not be possible to process OCT payments to the cardholders whose cards were issued by Russian banks.
